    The chronicle covers two calendar centuries - 1785-1995: from the time of the establishment of Russian-Bavarian diplomatic relations to the First World War and the subsequent periods of the so-called "first", "second" and "third" emigration waves. The beginning of the “fourth wave” (settlers of the 1990s) is only partially touched upon, which requires further study and systematization. Outside of the presented chronicle, there were also many persons and events related to the Ukrainian colony, the emigrant center of which moved to Munich from Prague in 1945. However, even in this case, individual contacts and lines of intersection of its bright figures with the multinational and diverse Munich “Russian” diaspora are shown.
